Oxfordshire Lowland Search and Rescue (OxSAR)
Oxfordshire Lowland Search and Rescue is a team of volunteers available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to support the emergency services.
Their main role is to assist the Police service with vulnerable missing person searches across Oxfordshire and assist other search teams in the surrounding counties. OxSAR is also available to assist the emergency services, county council and other agencies in the event of a major incident.

Association of Lowland Search and Rescue (ALSAR)
The Association of Lowland Search and Rescue (ALSAR) is a voluntary organisation dedicated to assisting the emergency services in the search for missing persons.
A Search and Rescue volunteer is a person who, of their own free will, gives their time, effort and skill to lifesaving search and rescue operations without expectation of profit, and as part of an organisation recognised by the statutory authorities.
